Buenos Aires GIN
A gin that boasts an exquisite aromatic complexity. Its carefully selected botanicals gracefully unfold across the palate, offering those who drink it a balanced flavor. It has predominant notes of juniper berries, combined with a dry texture and a pleasant, slightly earthy and citrusy finish, giving it an unmistakable identity.
Buenos Aires GIN respects the tradition of Old World gin distillation techniques. A true London Dry at its finest.
We are thrilled to celebrate a few international recognitions that highlight our dedication and hard work: a BRONZE award at the International Wine and Spirit Competition #IWSC in August 2019, the title of BEST CONTEMPORARY GIN at the #WorldGinAwards in January 2020, and most recently, in 2024, we were honored with the SILVER award, distinguishing us as the second-best London Dry Gin in Spain.
OUR PROJECT and our story
The brothers Bruno and Franco Moretti, born in the Argentine Patagonia and based in Buenos Aires, are two entrepreneurs by nature. By day, Bruno is an Engineer and Franco a Molecular Biologist, and by night both are musicians and artists. At the beginning of 2016 they decided to put their heads together and create an innovative project.
This is how Moretti Distillery was born, one of the first micro distilleries in the country.
After extensive conversations and research, the idea of making artisanal spirits arose; something that would fit perfectly with both of their professions and passions.
This is how they came to produce one of their favorite drinks: GIN. Such was the obsession from that moment on, that after several months of intense dedication to the study of the distillation processes and carrying out countless tests and combinations of botanicals, they developed their famous Buenos Aires GIN. In no time, their gin was able to position itself in the high-end spirit segment in the Argentine market and was internationally awarded on more than one occasion.
The year 2022 found them embarking into Europe through the Spanish market, with new awards to their credit and an extra motivation to continue with the development of distilled products, always faithful to their innovative style.
Our recent recognition at the ICONS OF GIN competition in England as the winner in the Campaign Innovator category and as Highly Commended as Brand Innovators speaks volumes about the pioneering nature of our approach.
